Tony award nominee Michael McElroy (BIG RIVER) and The Broadway Inspirational Voices and Salem Missionary Baptist Church are teaming up for “Miracles,” a Spring Concert Sunday, May 31st at 7:30pm at the Salem Baptist Church, 305 East 21st street, Brooklyn NY 11226 (between Flatbush and Ocean.) The concert will raise funds for the T.J. Boyd Scholarship Foundation. Salem is the home church of Tony award winner and BIV veteran Adriane Lennox (DOUBT, After Midnight). In true BIV fashion, “Miracles’ aims to lift and inspire though song using an array of gospel music.

Rev. Dr. Thomas J. Boyd is the 5th pastor of the Salem Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Boyd’s love for the youth is unparalleled and his ministry of tough love has been tempered only by the benevolent spirit of a caring and concerned father. The most tangible expression of his love for, and commitment to our youth, and to their future is that of the T. J. Boyd Scholarship Fund. The T. J. Boyd Scholarship fund was established in 1969. Each year on Scholarship Awards Day, the Salem family awards scholarships to worthy college students. Through the decades, hundreds of young people have benefited from the resources of this fund.

Tickets are $40 (advance), $45 (day of) and special VIP tickets available by calling (718) 295-8538 or (718) 692-7225. General admission tickets can be purchased here.
